Root Care Foundation (RCF) is driven by the vision to ensure that no child is deprived of basic rights such as right to better living, right to education and right to protection against any form of exploitation. Fuelled by constitutional values, it is determined to bring about effective changes in the lives of people. The primary objectives of the foundation revolve around encouraging poor children to gain knowledge, conserving biodiversity, providing ecosystem services, making people aware of health related issues, conducting campaigns to eradicate social evils so as to promote economy of our nation. It also aims to provide handholding support to the government in the implementation of such schemes which help improve the socio-economic conditions of downtrodden. In order to meet the set targets of the foundation, the resources are be generated through accepting donations from individuals, communities, agencies, Government Departments, Ministries and Civil Society Organizations. Since the foundation enjoys a panel of experts on various subjects, the RCF would like to conduct evaluation studies, verification works, audit works etc. for various central and state government departments, companies and civil society organizations etc. The foundation has worked for more than five years without being a legal entity but recently it has been registered as a trust. The foundation provides membership for the people who want to contribute to the vision of the foundation. At present, the foundation enjoys over 200 members and more than 1000 followers through social media. The foundation has organised several camps, scholarship programmes, encouragement based competitions, campaigns, awareness programmes in the remotely located areas of our country.
